The Video tripod GreenBean HDV Elite 518 FastLock with a professional video head with liquid damping and pre-installed counterbalance is designed to mount digital cameras weighing up to 5 kg. The tripod is suitable for small camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable camcorders. Lightweight, compact tripod weighing 4.6 kg and folded length of 82 cm extends to a height of 75 to 155 cm and can be used both in a small studio and when working on the road. The tripod is perfect for dynamic reportage shooting when you need to quickly change the working height or move the tripod. The new unique FastLock leg fold design is much more convenient than the "traditional" one and allows you to bring the tripod into position in a second.
The tripod is suitable for most popular camcorders from Sony, Panasonic and many other manufacturers. To do this, the camera body must have a 1/4” and 3/8” threaded hole. ˚ If necessary, the mechanisms of vertical and horizontal panning are fixed independently from each other with screws.
The liquid damping mechanism makes the movement of the camera smooth, uniform and eliminates jerks at the beginning of the movement and when the camera stops. The counterbalance mechanism makes it easier to control the camera when panning vertically and prevents it from tipping over, creating a force that returns the camera to a horizontal position. The removable video head is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy, mounted on a hemisphere (bowl) of a tripod with a diameter of 75 mm and fixed with a convenient locking handle 125 mm long.
The quick-release camera mounting plate has two ¼" and 3/8" threaded screws, rubber anti-slip pads and an additional spring-loaded camera lock. To precisely balance the camera's center of gravity, the quick release plate moves within 8 cm. The detachable pan handle can be mounted on the right or left side of the video head, which is convenient for operators who are accustomed to working with the right or left hand. The handle length is 35 cm, at the end there is a corrugated rubber pad for a secure grip. Twin tube tripod sections allow you to quickly change and lock the tripod height with FastLock clips. The tripod is designed in such a way that only one clamp on each leg connects three sections at once - tripod installation and height adjustment will be much faster than with a traditional tripod design. To strengthen the tripod and make it more stable, a metal top brace is used.
The bubble level located on the tripod head makes it possible to set the camera on a tripod in the horizon and avoid the effect of "filling up" when panning. The leg supports are double spikes mounted on rubber feet that can be removed, for example, to mount a tripod on a trolley. A zippered pouch with a shoulder strap for storing and transporting the video tripod is included.
