Extremely high aperture - f/1.4, - allows you to shoot with a shallow depth of field and not use the flash in low light conditions. The rounded 9-blade aperture provides a soft and beautiful blurring of the background, and the multi-layer anti-reflection coating and the blend that comes with the kit allow you to avoid parasitic illumination, glare and contrast fading. The use of two aspherical elements and an element with an anomalous partial dispersion allows the lens to correct chromatic aberrations and distortion of the image.
