Audio recorders
Here you will find portable audio recorders.
The portable sound recorder is a professional device designed for high quality sound recording outside the studio. Used in filmmaking, video recording and broadcasting. Usually, it can operate independently of batteries and has a balanced input for connecting external microphones. The maximum and minimum sound volume that the device can accept for sound recording is called the dynamic range of the device. Measured in decibels.
Analog recorders. Superseded by digital recorders. The best analogue recording devices have a range of about 70 dB.
Digital recorders, unlike analog ones, record sound as a string of digits, with each digit defining the audio sampling. The sampling rate of most professional recorders is 48K fragments / sec. For more advanced systems, this figure reaches 96K. Advanced recorders are more accurate than the human ear.
