BeachTek DXA-Connect is designed for DSLR cameras that have manual audio control and a headphone jack to monitor the process.
The BeachTek DXA-Connect has a preamplifier that amplifies incoming sound. Gain adjustment is also provided independently for each channel. For most microphones, you can turn on medium (Med) gain (GAIN) +20 dB, and for some - maximum (High) +30 dB.
BeachTek DXA-Connect is powered by a 9 volt battery. Operating time from one battery (under standard conditions and phantom make-up turned off) ranges from 3 hours (with an alkaline battery) to 8 hours (with a lithium battery). When the battery is sufficiently charged, the LED indicator lights up green, and when the battery is discharged, the indicator lights up red.
