The Dulens APO Mini prime features a special coating that smoothes out skin tones and adds halation, a hallmark trait of vintage lenses. Shooting wide open creates a special rainbow flare. When stopping down, the flare is minimized. The focus is sharp but not rigid, and the image is soft and expressive. Apochromatic (APO) design affects the entire image composition, which eliminates the effects of in-focus and out-of-focus color fringing with a fully open aperture. Ensure that the color of the picture is pure and natural, especially when working with scenes that require the subject to have precise edges, like blue and green screen keying.
