Working with round diopters and macro rings is a very laborious process. These I/BE Optics rectangular diopters are quickly mounted (top or side) in any standard 4 x 5.65 inch compedium (Arri, Chrosziel, etc.). This solution not only saves time on the set, but also provides new creative opportunities.
In practice, they move both the near and far focal lengths of the lens closer to the matrix plane: on the one hand, the lens can focus closer than its original close focusing distance, but on the other hand, the far focus moves from infinity to a closer value.
Created using superior quality glass, extremely thin diopters are available with three magnifications:

- +2.0
+0.5 and +0.8 diopters use one filter slot, and +2.0 uses two slots.
