This Kenko PRO1D C-PL 77 mm wideband polarizing light filter helps to increase the color saturation of a photograph, for example, to darken the blue sky to highlight white clouds, or to eliminate unwanted reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces, in particular water or glass. The filter also increases the contrast of the landscape in the presence of atmospheric haze. The Circular PL model does not change the overall color balance of the image and is suitable for use with modern SLR cameras, in the focusing system of which half-mirrors are used to cause polarization of light.
