96-LED Z-Flash lamp is a modification of the famous HDV-Z96 lamp. All changes made to Z-Flash are intended primarily for the possibility of using this light in flash mode.
The technical parameters of Z-Flash allow using this lamp as a constant light (like HDV-Z96), which makes this lamp a versatile tool for both video and photo shoots simultaneously. Z-Flash combines high power, compact size and excellent luminous flux characteristics. It is equipped with a dimmer for smooth (25-100%) adjustment of the power of the luminous flux. The luminaire body is made of very high quality plastic, fixing the light to the camera safely and conveniently. The innovative fixing of light filters with the help of a magnet attracts attention. The lamp has a wide angle of light flux, which gives it an advantage when shooting in 16x9 mode. Proper selection of LEDs in the panel does not give a green tint when used with a conversion filter.
The design changes mainly affected the possible ways to power the lamp. The power of the device in flash mode increases by 1/3, so in these conditions, the company refused compatibility with low-power power sources in the form of AA batteries in favor of larger batteries compatible with SONY NP series batteries (F550, F750, F970). The luminaire is connected to the camera or radio synchronizer using the included sync cable (the sync cable is compatible with Canon and Nikon cameras, an additional adapter is required for SONY cameras). In addition, the flash can be activated using a button on the body of the lamp. The power of the device in flash mode increases by 40%.
There is the possibility of collecting several fixtures in the panel.
