Nikon Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED AF-S VR II is a professional high-aperture telephoto lens with an improved vibration reduction system and nanocrystalline lens coating.
The lens is an excellent solution for photographers working in the genres of wedding, portrait photography, in the genre of reporting, sports and wildlife.
A distinctive feature of the lens is its high constant aperture, which makes it possible to obtain high-quality images, for example, in cloudy weather, without resorting to extreme sensitivity values, and also allows for a small depth of field.
The lens is equipped with an VR II optical stabilizer, which allows using, at low light, exposure at 4 stops longer than the maximum possible for the same conditions without a stabilizer.
The design of the lens has as many as 7 elements of low-dispersion glass, which effectively correct the chromatic aberration. Objective lenses are made with an exclusive nanocrystalline multilayer enlightenment, which ensures the correct color reproduction and minimizes the likelihood of repetition and glare. At any focal length, the lens provides images with excellent resolution, excellent brightness across the entire field of the frame from the center to the periphery, high sharpness and correct color reproduction.
Autofocus lens is carried out using an ultrasonic drive, which provides high accuracy and speed of focusing with almost complete noiselessness of this process.
Despite the relatively large weight, the lens is perfectly balanced and easy to work with both large professional cameras and medium-sized cameras.
