The Teleview PH-100 headset is intended for use in intercom communication systems when working at events with high noise levels. Closed-back headphones reliably protect the videographer's hearing from noise and increase the intelligibility of the director's commands. Mounting the microphone on a metal bracket means you don't have to worry about breaking the microphone and you can focus on your work. The volume control is built into the headphone and allows you to quickly increase the broadcast director's volume in the headphone. Nominally, the PH-100 headset is equipped with two connectors for connecting to an intercom channel - a standard 6.3mm headphone jack and 5.25mm, the so-called "aviation" or "military" jack, microphone.
