Wirelessly monitor your camera image from up to 3000' away with this Vaxis Storm 072 Wireless Field Monitor and Video Transmitter Kit. The kit includes the Vaxis Storm 3000' DV wireless transmitter and the Storm 072 7" wireless on-camera field monitor.
The monitor features a 7" IPS LCD display, a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1000 cd/m² brightness, an L-series battery plate, and a built-in wireless receiver. The receiver is compatible with the included Storm 3000 as well as the Storm 800, 1000S, 2000, and 5000 transmitters and other wireless products such as the ARRI WUC-4, Movcam, Tilta Nucleus-M, and C-Motion. The Storm 3000 transmitter features a dual V-mount battery plate, can transmit up to 1080p SDI or HDMI video up to 3000' away, and features one SDI loop output. It supports HDMI-to-SDI cross-conversion, metadata, timecode, and can be powered using its 2-pin LEMO-type input using a separately available power source.
Ditch the cables and go wireless with the 7" Storm 072 Monitor/Receiver from Vaxis. Compatible with Vaxis Storm transmitters, this monitor/receiver supports up to 1080p60 video and has a wireless range of up to 984'. Suitable for both monitoring and focus pulling, the Storm 072 features a 1500 cd/m² display that is bright enough for outdoor use.
A headphone jack enables you to monitor the audio embedded in the video stream. Power the Storm 072 using two separately available long-lasting L-series batteries or via the included D-Tap cable and a compatible power source.
With the Storm 3000' DV Wireless Video Transmitter from Vaxis you can transmit visually lossless, uncompressed video signals to any Vaxis Storm receiver with zero latency. The unit features a dual V-mount plate which allows you to attach it to the V-mount plate on your camera and mount a V-mount battery on the other side, providing pass-through power to both the transmitter and the camera simultaneously. The transmitter features one HDMI input, one SDI input, and one SDI loop output, and it supports input up to 4K and up to 1080p60 video transmissions. The unit also supports cross conversion from HDMI input to SDI loop output.
The transmitter unit can be secured to a camera or other SDI/HDMI video source via a built-in 1/4"-20 threaded hole. The included short antennas provide connectivity for short distances of a few hundred feet, while the larger blade antennas transmit a powerful line-of-sight signal up to 3000'. It also supports the transmission of timecode, metadata, and timecode trigger information.
The Storm 3000 transmitter features 20 selectable 40 MHz channels and a 5.1 to 5.9 GHz wireless frequency range, and on the side is a bright LED display showing your connection status and channel information. The unit can be powered using its 2-pin LEMO port using a D-Tap or AC source with a separately available cable. A standard BNC cable is included so you can plug in right out of the box.
