The PIX-E5 4K is not only a powerful recorder, but also a touch monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 to control cropping, check focus and view selected areas. Video Devices has specifically designed the PIX-E Series compact recorders to work with small cameras and camcorders without the need for excessive effort.
Advantages of Video Devices PIX-E5 5 "4K:
- Ability to simultaneously write a ready-to-edit 4K ProRes (MOV) file to a SpeedDrive file and a 1080p H.264 (MP4) file on an SD card
- If you have an active LUT table during simultaneous recording, it will be written only to the H.264 file and will not affect the recording of ProRes. This allows you to record the ProRes master file for editing and the Rec.709 H.264 file for viewing by the client
- Zoom out from 4K to 1080p occurs automatically while recording 4K/1080p
- Also allows H.264 time-stamped recording on a SpeedDrive or SD card
