Sennheiser EW IEM G4-TWIN-G is a professional wireless personal monitoring system that includes two EK IEM G4 zone receivers, an SR IEM G4 SR transmitter and two pairs of in-ear IE 4 headphones. Audio signals are broadcast in the RF range 566 - 608 MHz ( G), and the range of action in space in ideal conditions can reach 100 meters. The set is designed to create a monitor system for two performers; microphones or musical instruments in mono or stereo formats can be used as a sound source.
The SR IEM G4 transmitter is made in a half-rack package, which saves free space when installed in a rack rack, because two such devices take up only the space of a 1U standard case. The device can receive a stereo signal, the inputs are made on two Combo Jack/XLR connectors. You can connect microphone, line or instrument sources. The frequency range from 25 Hz to 15 kHz is capable of transmitting the entire useful signal of any instrument or voice, and not losing some of the frequencies and the volume level during the broadcast will help the maximum power up to 50 mW. For the transmission of the audio signal is one detachable antenna, the input for which is made on the BNC connector. The output for connecting to a speaker system or a mixing console is made on two 1/4"Jack TRS connectors, and there is also a headphone output with a separate volume control, represented by a 1/4" Jack TRS connector. There is an LCD display on which actual parameters are displayed, and only a few buttons are located on the body to control the functionality. On the rear panel is the RJ-45 port, which is designed to connect one or more transmitters to a digital network to control them using the Sennheiser WSM program.
The belt receiver EK IEM G4 is firmly fixed to the belt and does not cause inconvenience during operation due to its small dimensions and weight. The functionality of the device includes bandwidth up to 42 MHz, up to 16 compatible channels, as well as three modes of noise reduction - low, medium and high. The receiver is powered by two AA batteries.
Audio can be received in both mono and stereo formats, playback is carried out using in-channel dynamic headphones IE 4, the output of which is represented by a 1/8"Jack TRS connector. The maximum sound pressure can reach 106 dB and the nominal resistance is 16 Ohms. The headphones have a 1.6 meter fixed cable and a 1/8 "Jack TRS output connector, which makes it easy to connect them to the receiver.
In addition to the kit, you can rent 2 more receivers to create a monitor system for four performers.
