The Sony DSR 400P is a professional DVCam shoulder camcorder. Developing this model as the development of the previous Sony camera - DSR570, engineers retained all the best from the previous model and added a huge number of new features and convenient features.
First of all, it should be noted that the DSR400 is a truly professional camera: it has an interchangeable lens, a 2/3 inch bayonet, sound inputs XLR, a professional black and white viewfinder, a professional mount of very capacious and durable batteries and, of course, it has familiar to each operator control.
The camera has received a completely new CCD matrix, which in capable hands give a very impressive, deep and rich image, and allow you to work in minimum light conditions, up to 0.5 lux.
The minimum illumination is 0.5 lux, the diameter of the filters of the standard lens is 82 mm, manual setting of the aperture, zoom, focus settings. It is possible to switch the color temperature through the menu. Connector for connecting directly to the camera light (maximum 50W). Long recording time - over 3 hours of recording in DVCAM format on one cassette. 48 KHz / 32 kHz sampling rate recording with 16-bit quantization 2 switchable XLR inputs for balanced audio (line input, microphone input, microphone input with attenuator).
